THIS IS ME

Picture of Terina Adams

From camel rides through the Rajasthani desert to white-water rafting on the Zambezi, bungee jumping off Victoria Falls bridge, and hiking the peaks in Pakistan, my life has been a whirlwind of adventure. Whether piloting a twin-prop plane into remote First Nation communities in northern Western Australia or peering through a microscope in a lab, I’ve always found solace in the pages of a book.

For years, I dismissed the idea of writing my own novel as an impossible dream. That is until my husband challenged me to try. Initially, I laughed it off, but over time, my resistance softened. The thought evolved from a firm no way to a tentative maybe, and eventually to a determined why not? Armed with nothing to lose and everything to gain, I embarked on a new journey.

Starting a master’s degree in writing, attending numerous conferences, and workshops behind me, I find myself living a life I once thought was out of reach. Writing, publishing, and embracing the unexpected turns of life, I’ve discovered that the world of storytelling was never really beyond me after all.

Here's a little more in a snapshot
